Whatโs New ๐
In anticipation of the NAB annual conference, Adobe has revealed exciting new features, including Text-Based Editing and Automated Color Tone-Mapping in Adobe Premiere Pro. Additionally, Adobe celebrates three decades of its influential tool, Adobe After Effects. Adobe has been at the forefront of empowering the world's most creative minds, contributing to 10 Oscar-nominated films this year alone. The tech giant also unveiled Adobe Firefly Video, the next leap in AI-driven creativity and productivity, aimed at revolutionizing the way creators and their computers interact. Dive in to understand how Adobe's latest innovations will shape the future of content creation.
Tinder, the globally renowned dating app, is experimenting with an artificial intelligence (AI) feature that curates the most appealing photos for user profiles, thereby boosting the likelihood of attracting right swipes. The new tool would alleviate the stress of photo selection by choosing the top five images that best portray the user. Tinder's parent company, Match Group, hints at a more significant role for AI in future initiatives, aiming to streamline dating by minimizing awkwardness. Additional AI-driven tools are under consideration, including generative AI to assist in user bio creation. Amidst a surge of AI integration into dating apps, the challenge of maintaining safety and authenticity in user interactions persists.
"Misrepresentations by AI Pose Legal and Reputational Risks" ( 5 minute read)
Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbots have falsely accused individuals like former Dutch politician Marietje Schaake, leading to concerns about the technology's accuracy. Companies such as Microsoft, OpenAI, and Meta are employing various strategies to improve the accuracy of AI, like user feedback mechanisms and pattern prediction corrections. However, legal precedents involving AI are scarce, and current laws governing AI are new and largely untested, which poses challenges for those seeking recourse against false accusations made by AI.

How to ACTUALLY Go Viral ๐
Creating viral videos is an art that requires a strategic approach. It's not just about speaking to the camera, but about crafting a compelling narrative that hooks, engages, and directs your audience. In this section we'll explore the essential triad of content creation: the hook, body, and call to action, and how you can use these elements to make your videos go viral. This is just a sneak peek of the myriad of information weโll be covering in our AI Content Marketing Mastery Program, so stay tuned for how you can apply to the program!
The Art of the Hook
The hook is the first few seconds of your video that captures your viewers' attention. In the age of fleeting attention spans, a compelling hook is absolutely critical. It's not just about an intriguing start; it's about mastering the art of holding attention. Effective hook strategies include adding suspense or negativity, getting straight to the point, speaking in the 'You' form, saying the opposite of what you really want to say, and using as few words as possible. Remember, the first two seconds of your video are the most important because that's when a viewer decides whether to keep watching or scroll past.
Crafting the Body of Your Video
Once you've hooked your audience, the body of your video becomes extremely pivotal. You can't just ramble on and expect the viewer to stay engaged. You need to keep your content concise, minimize fluff words, and continuously allude to things later on in the video to keep viewers interested. A super cool technique that you can implement is called 'In Medias Res', a Latin phrase that means โin the middle of things.โ Start the video with a dramatic clip or section of content that's captivating, then go back to the beginning. This primes the viewer for an emotional reward or outcome that they won't experience again until they watch the video all the way through.
The Call to Action
The call to action is the most important part of your video. This is where you convert your viewers into leads or followers. However, try to refrain from promoting anything explicitly in the early stages of content creation. This might go against the algorithm of many platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, which all have their own ad platforms. Instead, a simple call to action like 'for more content like this, be sure to follow' could be beneficial.
In conclusion, creating viral videos is a strategic process that requires a compelling hook, an engaging body, and an effective call to action. With consistency and diligence, you can master these elements and create videos that not only go viral but also convert viewers into loyal followers.
